A fun project came via email from the Carson City Arts & Culture Coalition to create on a mannequin for the 2018 Jazz & Beyond Music Festival in August. Working with metal, mosaics, leather and natural pieces the Wild West Woman came to life.
Having the gift of art through out primary school years, Karen developed a long-term love for creating. One goal of the Wild West Woman is to encourage other women and girls to let out their wild, creative self.
The Wild West Woman spent time in the Brewery Arts Center and moved to The Bliss Mansion for the opening night of the Jazz Festival on August 3, 2018.
